Says He Never Supported Dr. Azemeh Azena During Land Meeting
The Resident Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Benin 40, Pastor David Oseghale, has issued a public disclaimer demanding the retraction of a Facebook publication by Hon. Aghatise Ralph, which he described as false and defamatory.
In a statement, Pastor Oseghale denied claims that he supported Dr. Azemeh Azena during an official engagement over land involving the church’s campground.
According to him, his role at the meeting was to represent Omega Fire Ministries and ensure that accurate facts were presented. He explained that when Dr. Azena was asked how much the church paid for the campground and said he could not remember, he intervened to state that the property was purchased for ₦30 million.
Pastor Oseghale maintained that his statement was made solely to clarify the facts and should not be interpreted as support for Dr. Azena.
Describing the Facebook publication as false, misleading and capable of damaging his reputation, he demanded that Hon. Aghatise Ralph remove the post from all social media platforms and issue a public retraction and apology within 48 hours.
The pastor further stated that he would pursue legal remedies should the demand not be met within the stipulated period.
As of the time of filing this report, Hon. Aghatise Ralph had not publicly responded to the allegations or the demand for retraction.
