Iwhrekan PG Hails Tompolo, Pondi for Human Capital Development, Urges Tinubu to Expand Tantita Contract

Community Leader Says Pipeline Surveillance Initiative Has Created Jobs, Promoted Peace and Boosted Development Across the Niger Delta

By IBN News

The President General of Iwhrekan Community in Ughievwen Kingdom, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, Evangelist Ufuoma Omoberayen, has commended the Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, and the company’s Managing Director, Engr. Kestin Pondi, for their contributions to human capital development through the Federal Government’s pipeline surveillance contract.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Omoberayen said the pipeline surveillance initiative has grown beyond protecting critical national assets, evolving into a platform for youth empowerment, job creation and socio-economic transformation across the Niger Delta.

He described Tompolo as a visionary leader whose commitment to empowering people has positively impacted thousands of families, adding that the Tantita Chairman has consistently demonstrated a strong passion for creating opportunities for others.

According to the community leader, the company’s investment in human capital has helped reduce youth unemployment, discouraged pipeline vandalism and crude oil theft, and promoted peace and stability in many oil-producing communities.

Omoberayen also praised the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Engr. Kestin Pondi, and the company’s management team for translating the Chairman’s vision into meaningful development through effective leadership, professionalism and inclusive community engagement.

“We sincerely appreciate High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, for his exceptional leadership and genuine concern for the welfare of the people. He is a leader who believes that true success lies in lifting others and creating opportunities for them to succeed,” he said.

He added that Pondi and the management team deserve recognition for ensuring that the benefits of the pipeline surveillance contract are felt across communities in the Niger Delta.

The Iwhrekan President General called on traditional rulers, community leaders, stakeholders and residents of the region to continue supporting Tantita in its efforts to safeguard Nigeria’s oil and gas infrastructure.

He said the company’s success has contributed to improved security, economic growth and sustainable development across the Niger Delta.

Omoberayen also appealed to President Bola Tinubu to expand the scope of Tantita’s pipeline surveillance contract, arguing that the company’s performance and contributions to national asset protection and human capital development justify greater responsibilities.

According to him, expanding the contract would strengthen the fight against crude oil theft, increase Nigeria’s oil production, create additional employment opportunities for youths and consolidate the peace currently being enjoyed in many oil-bearing communities.

He expressed confidence that with increased government support, Tantita would continue to deliver outstanding results while contributing significantly to national revenue generation and the socio-economic development of the Niger Delta.

Omoberayen also prayed for God’s continued protection, wisdom and strength for Tompolo, Pondi and the entire management of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited as they continue their nation-building efforts.

IBN News will continue to monitor developments on pipeline security, oil sector reforms and community development initiatives across the Niger Delta.
