Agbebaku Reaffirms Commitment to Improving Road Access in Owan West
The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku, has personally led another round of palliative repairs on the failed sections of the Sabongidda Ora–Ugbubezi Road in Owan West Local Government Area.
According to the Speaker, the intervention is part of ongoing efforts to prevent further deterioration of the critical road while advocating for its permanent reconstruction.
Agbebaku said the initiative is aimed at improving safety for commuters, easing the movement of farmers transporting their produce, and enhancing accessibility for communities that depend on the road.
He noted that leadership should be measured by a willingness to respond to the needs of the people through practical action rather than mere promises.
The Speaker commended the workers involved in the exercise and appreciated residents of Owan West for their continued support, assuring them that efforts to improve infrastructure and the welfare of the people would continue.
