The Commissioner also appealed for greater cooperation from residents, traditional institutions, community leaders, stakeholders and the media, stressing that effective policing requires collective participation.

Edo State continues to face a range of security concerns, including kidnapping, armed robbery, cult-related violence and other criminal activities.

The Police Command is expected to strengthen collaboration with communities and sister security agencies to improve intelligence gathering, prevent attacks and ensure that criminal elements are brought to justice.

The assumption of office by CP Patrick Daaor therefore signals a new chapter in the leadership of the Edo State Police Command, with renewed emphasis on intelligence, professionalism, community partnership and effective crime prevention.
